The junction box is the core supporting terminal equipment of sacrificial anode and impressed current cathodic protection (ICCP) systems, widely used in anti-corrosion works for buried steel pipelines, storage tanks, wharf steel piles, marine steel structures, chemical equipment, etc. It is a dedicated protective enclosure for on-site cable gathering, wiring, testing and commissioning. The equipment is mainly used to centrally house, transfer and protect various CP cables — anode cables, cathodic return cables, reference electrode cables, monitoring/test cables, etc. — thoroughly solving the industry pain points of messy cables, exposed joints, easy corrosion and breakage, and difficult inspection on site, standardizing construction, isolating rain, dust, salt, alkali and moisture, and providing a stable and safe wiring terminal for the CP system to ensure long-term smooth operation.
